Maternity Leave

[push h=”20″]Attorney Chelsie Lamie recently announced her firm’s new maternity/paternity leave policy. All employees, both part-time and full-time, are given 6 weeks paid time off following the birth or adoption of a child. “This policy is in line with our firm’s culture, which is compassion” says Attorney Lamie. “New moms and dads need time to bond with their new child and recover physically and mentally from this life-changing event. The last thing I want my team worried about is how they will pay the bills during this exciting and challenging time. It’s the least I can do for the wonderful people who support me and my clients day in and day out”. The policy will benefit its first employee in February 2017, when Chelsie’s litigation paralegal, Bethany, is expecting her second child.
